About
Nicole Packard Williams is an artist and art educator based out of State College, PA. Her work focuses on the intersection of reality and fantasy and explores such themes as identity and relationships.
Throughout her career, Nicole has been intrigued by the ways in which she can combine real subjects in unrealistic ways to create something imaginative. Her series Dark Matter combines macro images of cellular biology with imagined outer space galaxies to create images that play on the similarities between the micro and macro. Her new work, Mindscapes, mixes memories with fantastical places she wishes to visit, to create serene representative of landscapes.
